The Art of Dining, Angie Cass

20th August to 17 November 2026 at Moran Gallery Sylvania

The Australian bush can be both beautiful and foreboding, its dense, tangled
foliage concealing unseen dangers while bursts of colour emerge defiantly from
the shadows. Bloom celebrates the iconic native flowers of the Sutherland Shire,
proudly presenting them within the bushland environments they call home.

Drawing on her own encounters in nature, local printmaker Stephanie McCready
explores the metaphorical meaning of “to bloom” through expressive linocut
printmaking. The exhibition reflects on resilience, growth and the quiet power of
thriving in challenging landscapes, both botanical and personal.

The Moran Gallery is a collaboration between the Moran Health Care Group and
Hazelhurst Arts Centre, Gymea.
