When
19 February to 19 May 2026 at Moran Gallery Sylvania
Ginger Jingzhe Li’s exhibition Romance, Whimsy & Bloom explores the theme of cross-referencing the growth and vitality of women with the growth and prosperity of plants. It emphasises that women, in their constant self-exploration and pursuit, should be like flowers, like plants, nourished by the outside world – water and sunlight – constantly bloom their own brilliance, whilst providing love, care and beauty.
Ginger Jingzhe Li is a Carss Park-based multimedia artist whose practice spans painting, paper cutting, etching, sculpture and ceramics, often blending traditional Chinese motifs with a contemporary still‑life sensibility. Her recent work explores botanical subjects with a focus on colour and form, and she is also an active curator and publisher with exhibitions and publications across Australia and China.
The Moran Gallery is a collaboration between the Moran Health Care Group and Hazelhurst Arts Centre, Gymea
