Lee Bethel - Notice to the startled grass
When
18 September to 17 November 2025 at Moran Gallery Sylvania

An exhibition of recent works by Bundeena-based artist Lee Bethel. Known for her radical approach to the medium of paper, this exhibition demonstrates the artist’s command of materiality and the creation of intricate and eye-catching artworks.

Lee Bethel is an artist interested in the materiality of paper and how it can be cut, pricked, folded, or arranged to create an array of forms, shadows, and complex patterns. Her works often explore the relationship between object, place, and memory.  Lee teaches drawing, mixed media, painting and children’s classes at
Hazelhurst Arts Centre.

The Moran Gallery is a collaboration between the Moran Health Care Group and Hazelhurst Arts Centre, Gymea
