The Art of Dining reimagines the historical materials of cloth and plate, capturing
elaborate rituals of table-setting through the medium of collage. Taking
inspiration from table plans, cookery-book illustrations and culinary history, artist
Angie Cass tells a crooked but beautiful story of communal dining experiences.
Alexandria-based artist Angie Cass was born in the UK and worked as an
illustrator and animator in London, Sydney and Wollongong. Known for her
intricate and clever approach to the medium of paper, she also teaches collage at
Hazelhurst Arts Centre.
The Moran Gallery is a collaboration between the Moran Health Care Group and
Hazelhurst Arts Centre, Gymea.
